Krystal and Jonas’s Moss Mountain Farm wedding was one that I won’t soon forget. The day started at the cottage where the girls were getting ready. Krystal was surrounded by her bridesmaids as well as her mother, and they all were just so excited to be part of the day. The groomsmen got ready at the artist’s cottage which is nested on the back lawn of the Moss Mountain Farm house. They were so much fun all day, and I loved that Jonas asked his father and grandfather to be groomsmen. I can’t imagine a more perfect wedding day.

Their proposal story is so sweet that I just have to share. Jonas had traveled down to Mississippi to stay with Krystal for two weeks and work from her house. He drove her to work one morning and would be picking her up when she got off. After an extremely tiring and long shift in the ER, she was not in the best mood but tried to play along to him being excited about wanting to grab food at 2 am. Jones then made her close her eyes and walk outside with him. He was super nervous because nothing was going right. It started raining, his music speaker continued to stop working, and the outdoor lights weren’t working right. But they danced to the music anyway. Jonas handed her a remote to turn on the outdoor lights – which didn’t work. So he had to go and physically cut them on which stopped the music again. Finally, he got down on one knee and hands Krystal the ring box and proposed. He was full of nerves and said he had held on to the ring long enough and now it was hers. Krystal laughed and told him he had to actually put the ring on her finger. Like everything else in their life and relationship, it was perfectly imperfect.

Their wedding ceremony was at the Hidden Rose Garden at Moss Mountain Farm which overlooks the Arkansas River. Just outside of Little Rock, AR, Moss Mountain Farm is a the prettiest spot to get married.
