Ashlyn and Jed’s Northwest Arkansas wedding at Sassafras Springs Vineyard was on the perfect summer day! While it was hot, the steady breeze helped to cool everyone off. Like many other couples, they were originally going to get married in May. But, of course, their plans got delayed due to COVID. Even though their wedding was postponed and plans changed, their wedding day was absolutely perfect.

Ashlyn and Jed went to Dogwood Canyon the day after her sister’s wedding – in which they happened to catch the bouquet and garter at. Ashlyn, her brother, sister and their significant others, wanted to go on a hike to a waterfall before the newlywed brunch. She was thinking how nice it would be if her and Jed got engaged that day since all her family was in one place, which is rare. She jokingly asked him, “You’re not planning on proposing today are you?” Ha! Poor Jed. Little did she know, he was actually planning to propose and had two photographers camped out at the spot already. He played it cool and said no. She didn’t even know if he had a ring at this point anyway. As they were walking, she noticed his back pocket looked a little bulkier than usual. Her suspicions grew even more when nobody was concerned about being late for the brunch. When they got to the waterfall, they all took couple pictures in front of it. Ashlyn went to walk away, thinking maybe her suspicions were wrong. But at just that moment, Jed pulled her back with tears in his eyes and proposed. They all celebrated afterwards at the family brunch.

Ashlyn and Jed, no one deserves this perfect day more than the two of you. I know that your wedding plans got derailed a few times, but it was such a special and perfect day regardless of those change of plans! God bless you both and congratulations on this new adventure in your lives! It was a pleasure to get to document your wedding.
