Morgan and Thad’s wedding was held at the NOTUS Farmhouse in Muldrow, OK, which is a big, beautiful property with mature trees, a lofty barn, and a completely renovated farmhouse. It was the perfect venue for their wedding day last weekend. The ceremony itself was on the lawn underneath the trees. It was so beautiful! Shades of gray made up the bridesmaids’ dresses and bright pops of orange, yellow, pink, and purple florals along with stems of wheat made up the bouquets and centerpieces.

I met Morgan at a coffee shop in town to learn more about them and their wedding day. I learned that they have been together for basically forever, are outdoorsy, and have super busy schedules. We scheduled their engagement session around their work schedules, and decided on a sunrise session in a field and creek. The morning of the shoot, we woke up to dark skies and thunderstorm warnings. They were dressed and ready, so we decided to chance it. While we did have some rain and wind, they rocked their engagements! I also learned that they are super relaxed… who else would wake up before dawn and head out into the rain for portraits?!?

On their wedding day, Morgan and Thad were the most chill bride and groom ever. They chose to do a first look, which was the sweetest moment. Morgan stepped out of the farmhouse, down the porch steps, and towards her groom. Thad turned to see his bride, and they both had the biggest smiles… just wait until you see the images!

Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Millsap! Thank you so much for choosing me to photograph your day. It was truly an honor to document your first steps into marriage.
