I was updating the weather channel website every 12 hours days before Haley and Hutch’s wedding. This was going to be the THIRD rainy wedding day I have had this year! Oklahoma has gotten so much rain the last couple weeks! One of the sweetest couples got married this past Saturday, and I had been praying all week that the rain would disappear. I actually ended up driving straight into the thunderstorm, complete with a tornado watch, to get to their wedding. However, the storm died down just as Haley and Hutch were getting ready for their first look. Haley was such a joy, and never showed any stress or worry even while it poured during hair and makeup. As we got Hutch in place for the first look, there may have been a prank involved! Just wait until you see their first look… it’s a good one! The View at Hillside Barn in Sapulpa, OK couldn’t have been a better choice for their spring wedding. With the white barn backdrop and sidewalks, we were able to keep them off the flooded lawn and still get stunning portraits!
Hutch’s brother-in-law and Haley’s father officiated the ceremony. It was one of the most memorable ceremonies I have had the honor of photographing in a while. Haley’s father presented them with precious gifts during the ceremony, and finally announced them as Mr. and Mrs. Andersen.
I felt so honored that I was chosen to capture the memories of their day! Haley and Hutch, you two are just the best and such a joy to spend time with! Love you guys!
