the studio’s grand opening is scheduled for june 12.  i will be having a mixer for friends, family, and past clients.  i will post more details when the time is closer!

i am waiting on the electrician to come wednesday to install my fabulous chandelier and track lighting.  the rest of my furniture should be in by thursday, and i still have to sand and polish the concrete floors.  oh, and hang all of my artwork.  my backdrops and studio lights are all in and i have some super cute new props for babies.  the coolest thing about my studio is the building itself.  it is a historic building with 100 year old exposed brick in the front room, stained glass windows, old doors, an outside hallway/patio, and a view of the old town court yard.  and the location is amazing!  i can walk to all of my usual downtown locations from my studio which makes it so convenient.  i really lucked out on finding this building!  the only thing that sucks is the parking!  downtown fort smith parking is always terrible, especially during the 9-5 work day.

so mark it on your calendars… saturday, june 12!  and be prepared for the date to change… because you never know what might happen with renovations!  =D
